Obituary for Thomas Lawrence Carney

Thomas Lawrence Carney, 18, of Hummelstown, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020.

Born in Hershey, PA, on May 4, 2001, he was the son of Edward M. Carney, Jr. and Lynn K. Carney.

Thomas was a senior at Lower Dauphin High School. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and was never afraid to try new things. He participated in lacrosse, baseball, cross country and basketball through his scholastic experience.
In addition to his parents, Thomas is survived by his twin sister, Lillian K. Carney; two brothers, Liam M. Carney and Caden E. Carney; and grandparents, Larry and Jan Duckart, and Barbara Carney.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 11:00 AM in St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, with The Rev. Fr. Alfred P. Sceski as celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Thomas’ name to Lower Dauphin Communities That Care, C/O Angela Durantine, CTC Program Director, 291 E. Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036
