Obituary

Theresa D. Orsinger, 68, of Harrisburg, and formerly of Hummelstown, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020, in the Spring Creek Care Center, Harrisburg.
Born in Harrisburg on October 1, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mamie Hill Orsinger.
Theresa was a Maintenance Coordinator for the Rite-Aid Corporation. She was a 1972 graduate of the former John Harris High School; graduated from Palmer Institute formerly in Harrisburg; and attended nursing school. Theresa was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 265 and the former Sergeant Chauncey L. Yingst Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Unit 1687, and volunteered with the former Crime Watch, all of Hummelstown. She found pleasure in reading a good book.
Theresa is survived by two sons, William M. Bentzel, Jr., husband of Andrea of Enola, and Keith A. Bentzel of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Justin Bentzel and Madison Bentzel; one brother, Donald E. Orsinger, husband of Carmel of Harrisburg; several nieces and nephews; and friend, Kenneth Meyers of Hummelstown.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by a son, Shawn M. Bentzel; two brothers, Charles R. Orsinger, Jr. and Steven C. Orsinger; two sisters, Patricia L. Lindsey and Debbie Orsinger; and her beloved dog Spike.
A private graveside service will be held in the Hummelstown Cemetery.

For the short time I was able to meet n interact at times with Theresa, she was a lovely women,while living here at Hummelstown Manor and will be missed dearly by some of us she knew here ,rest in peace my friend !
