Obituary for Robin J. Koozer (Koozer)

Robin J. Koozer, 61, of Enola, passed away unexpectedly, August 9, 2021, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital.

Born in Rantoul, Illinois on March 25, 1960, she was the daughter of James Koozer husband of Norriene of Enola, and Susan Elliot Smith wife of Kenneth of Dillsburg.

Robin worked as a seamstress in an embroidery factory. She was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School, then went on to earn an associate’s degree. A creative and talented woman, Robin loved doing arts and crafts.

Robin is survived by her loving husband, Gary L. Gingrich, whom she married on September 3, 2017; two children, Nathan A. Hartsock (Amanda) of Wormleysburg, and Nicole L. Renaud (Johnathan) of East Pointe, Michigan; two step-children, Bradley A. Gingrich (Allison) of Hawthorne, and Gary L. Gingrich, Jr. of Lebanon; ten grandchildren; and two siblings, Cheryl K. Koozer of Denver, and Douglas Koozer (Cheri) of Mechanicsburg.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. James W. Moss, Sr. officiating. Interment will be in Union Deposit Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday at the funeral home from 1 PM until time of the service.
