Obituary

Rhonda L. Mader Paules-Tipton, 55, of Londonderry Township, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020, in Carolyn’s House of Hospice of Central Pennsylvania.

Born in Wellsboro on February 27, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Barbara Stafford Mader wife of Jack Mader, and the late Learoyd Abbey.

Rhonda was a former street cleaner for Pennsy Supply. She was an active member of the Middletown Anglers & Hunters. Rhonda, a nature and animal lover, enjoyed going to the mountains in Northern Pennsylvania, and crabbing at the beach.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Charles E. Tipton, whom she married in October of 1999; two sons, Dustin W. Mader of Lewistown, and Jeffrey L. Paules, Jr. of Highspire; one daughter, Heather M. Paules of Harrisburg; five grandchildren, Jasmyne Mader, Dylan Mader, Levi Mader, Juni Reyes and Eairyahna Reyes; her lifelong friend, Earl Kreiser of Harrisburg; and several brothers and sisters.

A celebration of Rhonda’s life will be held at a later date.

Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Carolyn’s House, 1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110; or to the Canine Rescue of Central Pennsylvania, PO Box 129, Dillsburg, PA 17019.
