Patricia Jean Baptist Hoch, 71, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at the UPMC Pinnacle Community Osteopathic, Harrisburg.
Born on October 13, 1949, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Robert Baptist and the late Pauline Reigle Baptist Halbert, wife of Charles Eugene Halbert.
Patricia was a graduate of John Harris High School. She worked as a sterile technician at Pinnacle Health at Osteopathic Hospital. She enjoyed doing counted cross stitch.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a son, Daniel W Hoch, Jr.; and two grandsons, Joshua Ridge and Aaron Hornberger and one granddaughter, Emily Hornberger.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Willis Hoch, whom she married on April 15, 1982; four children, Connie Lou Sheaffer of Harrisburg, Kathy Lynn Hornburger wife of Gary of Higgins, David Lee Hoch husband of Kellie of Harrisburg, and Jennifer Lynn Brown wife of Mark of Middletown; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Baptist, husband of Debra of Carlisle.
Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at 10 AM in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, 6701 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg. Following the graveside service, a celebration of Patricia’s life and luncheon will be held at Christ Community Church, 1201 Slate Hill Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
