Kenneth J. Miller, 81, of Hershey, and formerly of Freehold, NJ, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

Born on April 20, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Raymond and Angela Carbonaro Miller.

A 52-year employee of the trucking industry, he served as Vice President and General Manager of several large trucking terminals mainly on the East Coast including but not limited to J. B. Hunt Transport Inc., Westinghouse and Lebarnold. He was a 1955 graduate of Bergenfield High School, NJ, and had attended Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. Ken was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hummelstown. A hard-working man, nothing was more important to him than his family.

Ken is survived by his wonderful wife of 45 years, Ellen I. Magyar Miller, whom he married on September 6, 1974; his children, Eugene A. Miller (Joan) of Simsbury, CT, Phyllis Daus (the late Michael) of Marysville, Janine Fuchs (Christopher) of Loveland, CO, Christine Crawford (Rod) of Bluffton, SC, Jeff Miller (Joy) of Boonton, NJ, and Kenneth E. Miller of Harrisburg; one brother, Dennis Miller (Alexandra) of Lincroft, NJ; twelve grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and several nieces.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by a son, Robert Anderson, and a daughter, Janice Miller.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 18, 2020, at 10 AM in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 West Main Street, Hummelstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
