Obituary

Joseph A. Jankovic, 89, of Hershey, and formerly of Hummelstown, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, in the Lebanon VA Medical Center.

Born in Bressler on May 19, 1931, he was the son of the late Mato and Frances Simunovic Jankovic.

Joseph retired from the Guide Center of the former Bethlehem Steel where he made rails for the railroad. He was an U.S. Air Force veteran who served proudly in World War II. Joseph found enjoyment walking the trails in Shank Park, Derry Township.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Ellen Donna Colleen Zerbe Jankovic, on February 5, 2015.

Joe is survived by one daughter, Diane Sinkovitz wife of Michael; two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in the Hummelstown Cemetery.

Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests to have memorial contributions made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 897, Hershey, PA 17033; or to the Pennsylvania American Legion Housing for Homeless Veterans Corporation, 800 North Front Street, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
