Condolence: Janet was one of the wonderful nurses that cared for my mother through Pinnacle Health Hospice. She was a very caring person that truly cared about her patients. I am very sorry that we have lost her. My prayers and thoughts are with her family.
Condolence: An ancient philosopher once wrote, "What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others." I first met Janet during the darkest time of my life, when my mom was admitted to hospice care to live out the last three months of her life. I was frightened and worried, not knowing quite what to expect, and Janet became as much "my" nurse as she patiently answered my questions and helped to calm my fears. I saw how she treated my mom with such compassion, dignity, and even humor when appropriate. It was Janet's example that helped to inspire me to eventually become a direct patient care hospice volunteer, first with Pinnacle Health Hospice, and subsequently, Hospice of Central PA. Janet and I would see each other from time to time, either at a conference, or sometimes, because we shared the same patient as part of the ID Team. On such occasions, Janet was always interested in what was going on in my life, as well as eager to share some accomplishment of her kids. The selfish part of me wants her back. Indeed the healthcare world needs more "Janets"! But I know beyond a doubt that she has already seen the face of God and heard Him say, "Well done, good and faithful servant!" May her family, and all who have been touched in some way by Janet in this life, find strength and consolation in the days to come, knowing that one day, we will all be reunited in that place of total peace and joy.
Condolence: Janet was the most caring, loving, gentle soul I have ever met. She is definitely in heaven because there was never a more fitting angel. She was a rock to me with my Mother and then again with my father.
Condolence: My heart goes out to the Cleckner and Kerpan Family. I met Janet but once but have heard the stories of her skill, brilliance, tenacity, faith, and , most of all, her love and dedication to her family.
May you all somehow find comfort and peace in beautiful memories of this precious soul.
Be kind to yourselves and to one another in the days, months, an years ahead as you honor her memory.
In prayer for you!
Condolence: It's not easy to loose a loved one and we know how loved Janet was. She is now at peace watching over her precious family from above. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
