Obituary for Frances H. Wagner (Wolfersberger)

Frances H. Wolfersberger Wagner, 78, of Harrisburg, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, in Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Harrisburg.

Born in Harrisburg on June 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Galen V, Sr. and Mary M. Hottenstein Wolfersberger.

Frances served as a cook at the former East End Restaurant, Hummelstown, for over 20 years. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hummelstown.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Wagner; two sons, James V. Wagner and Glenn E. Wagner; and three brothers, Galen V. Wolfersberger, Jr., Charles E. Wolfersberger and Jack R. Wolfersberger.

She is survived by one son, Edward L. Wagner husband of Sandra K. Ierley Wagner of Middletown; and four grandchildren, Brittany L. Wagner wife of David Nipple, Derek A. Wagner Christopher V. Wagner and Christie D. Wagner.

A private graveside service will be held in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Lois K. VanOrden, her pastor, officiating.

Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
