Dennis was a good friend to me and others for many years. He often shared his thoughts on his passion for the environment, art, and, his love and concerns for his family members. He spoke of his travels across the country, his childhood adventures and encounters with wildlife. He had a very tough exterior but when he spoke of his family, you could tell his passion was very deep. During his illness, he often told me that if he were to go tomorrow, that he had a good life and saw some wonderful things. I do not think he realized in life how many people are going to miss him and are very sad that he is gone. I will miss you very much brother and rest in peace and hope to see you again some day.
