			<title>Louise Oyler</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p><img src='http://www.trefzandbowser.com/include/storage/thumb.php?edgeFade=4&amp;imgName=default-images/v3-lily.jpg&amp;imgWidth=72&amp;imgWidth=120' align='left' hspace='8'>Louise Hoffer Oyler, 82, of Lemoyne and formerly of Harrisburg and Hummelstown, passed away Friday, May 17, 2013, in Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born in South Hanover Township on October 1, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Anna M. Berrier Hoffer.  
     Louise retired as a bookkeeper for Brownstone Real Estate.  She was also previously employed as a bookkeeper for the former Hummelstown and Hershey National Banks.  Louise was a 1949 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School.  She was the co-owner of the former Oyler Taxi Service in Hummelstown.  Louise was a longtime former member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown; where she had been an organist.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and crafts; loved cardinals and playing both the piano and organ.  
     Louise is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Donald R. Oyler, whom she married on September 2, 1950; a son, Danny R. Oyler of Cleona; two daughters, Tammy L. Poffenberger (Greg) of Camp Hill, and Cindy J. Oyler; five grandchildren, Christopher Hyde (Lauren), Jason Weller, Cody Weller (Nichole), Janna Poffenberger, and Devan Walker (Chris); and four great grandchildren, Ellie, Annie, Christian and Vivienne.  
     In addition to her parents, Louise was also preceded in death by her brother, Jay G. Hoffer.  
     A memorial service will be held Monday, May 20, 2013, at 7 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown.  Inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.  Friends will be received for a visitation in the funeral home on Monday from 6 PM until time of the services.
     In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Central PA Food Bank, Harrisburg Warehouse, 3908 Corey Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109.</p>]]></description>

			<title>Charles Weaver</title>

Weaver, 84, of The Masonic Village, and formerly of Rutherford, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013, at the home.
     Born on June 15, 1928, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Helen M. Weaver.
     Charles was a car inspector for the former Reading Railroad, now ConRail, for 42 years.  He was a member of Chambers Hill United Methodist Church, Swatara Township, where he was an Easter Egger and an usher.  Charles was a member of Perseverance Lodge #21 F&AM, Harrisburg, the Harrisburg Consistory; the Zembo Shrine; and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forest 43, Harrisburg. He was also a founding member of the Tall Cedar Bowling League.  Charles was a member of both the Lawnton American Legion Post 998, and the VFW.  He enjoyed golfing, bowling, saltwater fishing, and going to his great grandson Ryan’s BMX races. 
	In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Katherine Ricker Weaver on June 26, 2009; his son, Charles Richard Weaver; and his sister, Doris Shearer.
He is survived by his son, John “Jack” W. Weaver husband of Ellen J. of Rutherford; three grandchildren, Jeffrey W. Weaver husband of Jennifer of Hummelstown, Tonya Parr wife of George of Naperville, IL, and Richie Weaver husband of Lexia of Moorehead City, NC; and five great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013, at 2 PM in the Chambers Hill United Methodist Church, 6300 Chambers Hill Road, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Frank N. Miller, his pastor, officiating.  Inurnment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Township, at the convenience of the family.  Friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday in the church’s narthex from 1 PM until time of the service.

Smith Foster, 70, of ManorCare, Carlisle, and formerly of Brooklawn, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2013, in the home surrounded by her family.
     Born in Brooklawn, NJ on June 9, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Loren and Margaret Thompson Smith.  
Peggy was employed in Human Resources in the hotel industry, specifically the Best Western in Honolulu, HI.  She was also a senior caregiver.  Peggy was a 1960 graduate of Gloucester City High School.  She loved animals and taking care of her house plants; she also enjoyed shopping.  
	Peggy is survived by her son, Robert C. Foster of Ewa Beach, HI; her daughter, Marcia L. Henry fiancée of Peter Dakin of Colonial Park; and two granddaughters, Kayla M. Henry and Brianna L. Henry.  
	In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Senatore.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Ricker Vachon, 84, of Country Meadows, Hershey, and formerly of Union Deposit, passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2013, in the Colonial Park Care Center surrounded by her family.     
     Gloria was born September 23, 1928, in Hummelstown to the late Russell L. Ricker, Sr. and Ruth A. Yingst Ricker.  
     Gloria retired as a clerk for the Department of Labor & Industry, where she was employed for over 30 years.  She was a graduate of Hershey High School.  
	Gloria was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald W. Vachon on May 28, 2008; a sister, Betty R. Gagion; and a brother, Russell L. Ricker, Jr.
	She is survived by her daughter, Karen Y. Price wife of Paul E. of West Hanover Township; her brother, Melvin E. Ricker of Hummelstown; two grandchildren, Heather Ann Price and Jason Ryan Price both of West Hanover Township; and three great grandchildren, Brianna, Harley and Mackenzie Price. 
	A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 8 2013, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown.  Interment will be in Hanoverdale Cemetery.  A viewing will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home from 10 AM until time of the service.

			<title>Joseph Nocera</title>

			<description><![CDATA[<p><img src='http://www.trefzandbowser.com/include/storage/thumb.php?edgeFade=4&amp;imgName=default-images/v3-lily.jpg&amp;imgWidth=72&amp;imgWidth=120' align='left' hspace='8'>Joseph P. Nocera of Derry Township passed away May 2, 2013, at his home.
    Born in Rockville Centre, NY on March 17, 1927, Joe was the youngest of 12 children born to Joseph and Virginia Carbonetti Nocera.
	He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Frances Soukup Nocera; his beloved daughter, Christine Nocera Christ of Hershey; his loving son, Joseph W. Nocera and fiancé Lindsey of Hummelstown; 2 grandchildren, Kaitlin M. Christ and David A. Christ of Hershey; and his dear sister, Louise Nocera of Rockville Centre, NY.  He has many nieces and nephews, but was close to nephew, Richard Pombonyo of Brightwaters, NY, and Rosy Milone of Brooklyn, NY.  
     Joe was an Army veteran of 2 wars, having enlisted as a teenager in WWII where he served in Italy.  He remained in the Army Reserves and was called to active duty in the Korean Conflict with the 31st Infantry serving as a platoon leader.  Joe attained the rank of Staff Sergeant First Class.  
Joe retired from Mount Joy Vocational Technical School where he taught Painting and Decorating.  One of his many joys in teaching came from students winning the annual VICA Competition several years in a row under his direction.  Of his vast number of students, Joe remained close to Jeffrey Kauffman of Mt. Joy and Sherry Houseal of Dillsburg.  Joe was a member of St. Joan of Arc R.C. Church in Hershey for 36 years.  He was an avid golfer, gardener and reader, keeping the ladies at Hershey Public Library busy.  But, most of all, Joe was a family man who loved his home and friends.  He will be missed by many.       
   A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, with The Rev. Fr. Michael W. Rothan as celebrant.  Inurnment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Friends will be received following the Mass from 11 to 11:30 AM in the church.
   In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions made to Hospice of Central Pennsylvania, 1320 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110; or to St. Joan of Arc Roman Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Avenue, Hershey, PA  17033.</p>]]></description>

Woodin, Sr., 93, of Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg and formerly of Allentown, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, with his family by his side.
Born in Gibraltar on January 4, 1920, he was the son of the late Harry and Jane Cole Woodin. 
Stirling was very gifted with languages, speaking Spanish, Italian, Portugese, and French, starting as a translator with Mack Trucks, Allentown and retiring after 37 years as export traffic manager.  He was a volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital for over 27 years, and founded the World Trade Club of the Lehigh Valley, where he also served as president for many years.  He was an extremely active member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Trexlertown, where he sang in the church choir and was an avid participant in the Vacation Bible School.  Stirling also enjoyed traveling. 
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Amalie M. Rapp Woodin, whom he married on April 1, 1950; a daughter, Linda M. Woodin of Lawnton; a daughter-in-law, Adriene Y. Woodin of Crofton, MD; several nieces and nephews; and his grand dog, Cody.  
In addition to his parents, Stirling was preceded in death by a son, Stirling E. Woodin, Jr.; three brothers, Harold Woodin, Arthur Woodin and John Woodin; and a sister, Margaret Pardy. 
     Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, from 5 PM to 8 PM in the Oak Terrace Room, West Campus of Bethany Village, 5225 Wilson Lane, Mechanicsburg.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 2 PM in St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, 6667 Lower Macungie Road, Trexlertown, with The Rev. Michael Piovane officiating.  Friends will be received by the family following the service.

Hoffer Brodbeck, 50, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, in the M. S. Hershey Medical Center.
    Born in Hershey on February 22, 1963, she was the daughter of Betty Lea Hoffman Hoffer-Exum of Harrisburg, wife of the late John L. Exum and the late Jay G. Hoffer.
    Terry was a former Registered Nurse at the Hershey Medical Center.  She was a 1981 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, and a 1985 graduate from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.  She was a volunteer and enjoyed horseback riding with the Capital Area Therapeutic Riding Association in Grantville.  She was an avid reader and dirt bike rider; and enjoyed knitting.    
    In addition to her mother, Terry is survived by one daughter, Ally N. Brodbeck, at home; one sister, Tracy J. Wampler fiancée of Steven Barrick of Elizabethtown; one brother, Timothy J. Hoffer husband of Leslie of Hummelstown; her former husband and father to Ally, Wayne R. Brodbeck of Hummelstown; three aunts; one uncle; and many nieces and nephews. 
	She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William and Lucinda Hoffman; and her paternal grandparents, Charles and Anna Hoffer.
    A celebration of Terry’s life will be held Friday, May 3, 2013 at 6 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. Dennis Adams, pastor of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Grantville, officiating.   Friends are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home on Friday from 5 PM until time of the services.

     Born in Derry Township on October 3, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Rosie Shirk McFarland.
     Elsie spent most of her life taking care of her family.  She was a member of Stoverdale United Methodist Church.  Elsie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cooking.
	She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Elmer A. Scheetz; and four sisters.
     Elsie is survived by her daughter, Joyce L. Corsnitz wife of George of Middletown; two grandsons, James Corsnitz husband of Jane of Hummelstown, and Joseph Corsnitz husband of Dory of Middletown; and one great granddaughter, Cora.  
     A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013, at 11 AM in Stoverdale United Methodist Church, corner of Wood Road and Middletown Road, Derry Township.  Inurnment will be in Stoverdale Cemetery.

	Born in Harrisburg, and raised in Lenker-Manor, on July 7, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Rosalie Zerfink Neiss.  Mary Beth was a 1975 graduate of Central Dauphin East High School, and received her degree in social work from Harrisburg Area Community College.  She was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Parish in Harrisburg.  Mary Beth was a volunteer in the Sub-Acute Unit at the Rehab Hospital of Mechanicsburg; she received the Patriot News’s Volunteer of the Month for her work there.  She was later employed by HealthSouth Systems, Mechanicsburg.  Mary Beth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; and loved her pet cats.
She is survived by her sister, Rosalie K. Baldwin wife of James of Harrisburg; her niece, Katharine M. Vernet wife of Ryan of Harrisburg; her great nephew, Mathew J. Smith; and her dear friend, Julie M. Videtto of Harrisburg.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 11:00 AM in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry Street, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Fr. Joseph R. Howard, as celebrant.  Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Harrisburg.  A viewing will be held on Saturday in the church from 10:00 AM until time of the mass.

     She was born in Lewisberry in 1934 to the late Stuart and Thyra Wise.  She worked as a lab technician for over 30 years and enjoyed her many years of retirement as a member of the Red Hat Club and Tops. 
	She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters Janine (Chuck) and Denise; granddaughters, Sabrina, Jolena and Cyrese; sister, Ina Jane Atkinson; and many other family members and friends.
	In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her sister, Loretta Hoffman; and brother, Merle Wise.
