Richard “Rick” K. Blouch, 66, of Hummelstown, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at his home.
Born in Harrisburg on June 4, 1951, he was the son of Charles M. Blouch of Hummelstown and the late Doris M. Larsen Blouch.
Rick was an United States Navy veteran. He graduated from Lower Dauphin High School in 1969. Rick was a master plumber and a member of the UA Local 520 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. He would collect and work on model trains and cars. Rick enjoyed riding on his back hoe, playing the guitar and listening to music, watching sci-fi movies and shows and the weather channel, and would go storm chasing.
Rick is survived by his wife of over 45 years, Judy A. Hill Blouch; three daughters, Marissa Blouch fiancée of Dave Miller of Hummelstown, Stephanie Forney wife of Dan of Bressler, and Kristin Birge wife of Greg of Atlanta; seven grandchildren, Dylan Lavalle of Hummelstown, Dana, Ellory, Magnus, and Aderyn Forney of Bressler, and Bryce and Colton Birge of Atlanta; and two sisters, Donna B. Rebman of Hummelstown and Debora A. Messner wife of Anthony of Palmyra.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with Pastor Catharine Senft Geib, Tree of Life Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held in the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of the service.
