Obituary for Joanne M. Wagner (Stroble)
Joanne Stroble Wagner, 58, passed away peacefully to eternal rest early Saturday morning after fighting a long battle with cancer. She is survived by her three sons, Randall, wife Brittany of Hummelstown with Kylie and Chase; Robert, wife Maggie of Paxtang with Reid; Joseph of Harrisburg with Ethan; her sisters, Mary Ann Salerno and Linda Knisley, both of Harrisburg; brother, Robert Stroble JR of Harrisburg and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Wagner, her parents, Robert and Helen Stroble, a sister, Shirley Tingler, a nephew, Robert Stroble.
Joanne was a diehard fan of the New England Patriots and Tom Brady so much so she named her cat, Brady. She followed Kyle Busch in NASCAR and loved doing cryptogram puzzles. She talked endlessly of her grandchildren and enjoyed being with them. Joanne was formally employed at PHEAA of Harrisburg.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017, from 1 to 4 PM in the West Hanover Recreation Building, 628 Walnut Street, Harrisburg. Burial will be private.
