Patrick C. Kading, 50, of Lower Paxton Township, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Born in Madrid, Spain, Patrick was the son of Patricia Beitman Kading and the late Louis C. Kading. Patrick was a 1984 graduate of Susquehanna Township High School. Most recently, Pat thrived as a driver and route salesman for Dieffenbach’s Potato Chips and had previously worked at Sherwin Williams for nineteen years.
Patrick was a jokester up to the very end who fiercely loved his family and friends. He served on the Nursery and Guardian teams at Living Water Community Church, and was passionate about the beach, Nascar, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Patrick leaves to celebrate his life his beloved wife, Sherry L. Horst Kading; his daughter, Olivia E. and son, Noah P., both at home; his mother, Patricia and sister, Dana Stottlemyer, both of Halifax; a niece, nephews, close relatives, friends, and Church family.
A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 AM in Living Water Community Church, 206 Oakleigh Avenue, Harrisburg, with The Rev. Michael S. Leonzo, officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Viewings will be held in the church on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Thursday from 10 AM until time of the service.
