Obituary for Judith A. Cottingham (Williams)
Judith A. Williams Cottingham, 82, of Hummelstown, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, February 8, 2017, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Luray, VA, on August 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Elizabeth Abott Williams.
Judy retired after 25 years from H.B. Reese Candy Company, where she worked in the peanut butter department. Judy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Hummelstown. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 265, Hummelstown. Judy loved to dance, read, and listen to music, especially Willie Nelson. Her greatest passion in life was her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Robert K. Cottingham, on June 14, 2014.
Judy is survived by her two sons, Robert T. Cottingham and William M. Cottingham both of Hummelstown; two daughters, Tamara L. Annibali wife of Tony J. of Palmyra, and Lisa D. Myers wife of Bryce of Hummelstown; two brothers, George A. Williams of Las Vegas, NV, and Michael T. Williams husband of Roseanne of Harrisburg; ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2 PM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, with The Rev. David W. Di Raddo, Remnant Life of Mechanicsburg, officiating. Inurnment will be in Fishburn Cemetery, Hershey. A visitation will be held on Monday in the funeral home from 1 PM until time of the services.
