The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jere Dunkleberger can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Mrs. Pearl,
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Jere's passing. I have many fond memories of playing at your house and growing up around the Dunkleberger family. Mr. Jere always had the best lawn in the neighborhood! My sympathy to you, Jere, Kim, and Lynn.

Condolence: Pearl and family,

My deepest sympathy to you and the family. My husband, John, (deceased 2013)and myself have great memories of Jere. We both had great times working with Jere at Sears. John enjoyed playing golf with Jere among other fun adventures. We last visited with Jere in his store about eight years ago. Still the same guy we knew back in the sixties. May the love and peace of God be with you.

Condolence: Jere Dunkleberger was always one of my heroes.
He was the first person to help me with getting
hearing aids. I really enjoyed being with him
and his daughter, Lynn, who were so helpful in
making me hear better. I also enjoyed Jane who
is the office manager. My wife and I enjoyed
going to the office because of the friendliness of
the staff and their personal interaction with me.
It also gave us the chance to go to lunch at the
Soda Jerk restaurant. Just memories and I am so
grateful that Jere was part of my life. May he
rest in peace!!!

Condolence: Dunkelberger family,
I'm so sad to hear of Jere's passing. I was a neighbor to the Dunkelberger family and have many fond memories of Jere. What I remember the most was his sense of humor and his pranks between his neighbors when he lived on Colonial Rd. Jere and his unmistakable voice had an aura about it. Made you smile when you were around him. My condolences to Dunkelberger family. Jere will be greatly missed.
