Betty D. Zellers (Duncan)

Betty Duncan Zellers, 86, of Susquehanna Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, in the Colonial Park Care Center, Lower Paxton Township, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Dauphin County on October 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Floyd H. and Theo M. Balsbaugh Duncan.
Betty retired as a secretary for the former Harrisburg State Hospital. She was a 1944 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School and attended the Central Penn Business School. She was a member of Progress-Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Harrisburg. Betty enjoyed reading, watching and feeding birds, going to the movies, and loved the beach. She also greatly enjoyed the food and atmosphere of the Christmas brunch at the Hotel Hershey.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford H. Zellers; a daughter, Sally Zellers on November 10, 2006; and her sister, Fern E. Goshert on December 16, 1962.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan E. Reidlinger wife of William of Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Stephanie S. Reid wife of Travis K. of Seaford, DE; a great grandson, Emerson W. Reid; three nieces; three nephews; and two cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at 11 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc. 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment will be in Hummelstown Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home on Saturday from 10 AM until time of the service.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, Inc., East Shore Shelter, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
