Obituary for Robert W. Vogt

Robert W. Vogt, 71, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013, in the Harrisburg Hospital.
Born in Harrisburg on June 17, 1941, he was the son of Raymond Vogt and Victoria Myers.
Robert retired from the Harrisburg State Hospital. He loved oil painting.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth E. Vogt; five daughters, Victoria Vogt, April Aurand wife of Jamey, Nikki Vogt, Brandi Vogt, and Charlette Eutzy; four sons, Christopher Vogt, Justin Vogt, Jamison Vogt, and Jeffrey Eutzy; two sisters, Debra Chortanoff-Hoerner and Sandra Chortanoff; two brothers, Anthony Chortanoff and Karl Chortanoff; and six grandchildren, Ryan “Ike”, Kayla, Tristan, Khalil, Jalil, Josslynn, Jeffrey, Emica.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Robert “Bobby” Vogt, Jr.; and a sister, Donna Jean Vogt Simpson Lopez.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:30 AM in the Trefz & Bowser funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. A visitation will be held on Friday in the funeral home from 10:30 AM until time of the services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc. 1214 West Main Street, Hummelstown, PA 17036 to help defray costs.
