Obituary for Philip Espenshade
Philip B. Espenshade, 54, of Londonderry Township passed away Monday, August 13, 2012, at his home.
Born on August 26, 1957, in Syracuse, NY, Phil was the son of Donald L. and Betty L. Miller Espenshade of Oberlin.
He was an independent truck driver; and had taught auto body at Dauphin County Technical School, Harrisburg. Phil was a 1975 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Phil was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen M. Bachem Espenshade, on January 11, 1991.
In addition to his parents, Phil is survived by his wife of 11 years, Debra O’Hazzo-Espenshade, whom he married on August 4, 2001; one daughter, Kelsey L. Espenshade of Middletown; two sons, Brad S. Espenshade of Harrisburg and Nicholas A. Espenshade of Middletown; one step-son, Aidan J. Feeman of Syracuse, NY; two brothers, Donald L. Espenshade, Jr. of Carlisle and Donald’s girlfriend, Callie Jenkins of Elizabethville, and David J. Espenshade husband of Kendra of Wilkesboro, NC; one sister, Susan J. Bonilla wife of Joseph of Hummelstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held by the family at their convenience.
Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown, is handling the arrangements.
